At first, I thought I was getting it wrong. I thought I needed to hang on to what we had built. We had only just moved here a year and a half ago. So, I thought we just needed to keep going in the same direction.
As the months went by, I realized that I was not going in the direction that would be most aligned with my heart and so began the gradual pirouette toward what would bring greater congruence and JOY!
In the process of moving from the 10th floor to 8th this past week, I expected to be more emotional. Instead, I have felt peace and contentment and have come to realize that to maximize my impact and influence in the world, ironically, I have had to minimize my local, physical imprint.
To widen my circle, I would have to lessen my attachment to space, stuff and other distractions that could sidetrack me from my greatest work yet.
Here are a few pics from our new office. Though it's less than ten percent of the space we had upstairs, it's welcoming and beautiful and the perfect next step to the start of a new chapter.
I have a supportive and loving staff and circle around me, God looking over me and guiding me and possibilities are abundant!
I'm grateful that I did not quit and would not settle but instead pushed through, staying true to myself and what stirs my soul.
Our new business model will lead with entrepreneurial, transformative retreats and coaching. We will offer tailored marketing strategies and business support to entrepreneurs, especially midlife women, so they can grow businesses that are aligned with their passion and are abundant with purpose and profit.
As women over 50 come alive to their truest offering and contribution, they will awaken to the best of themselves and in turn, bring their greatest work to a waiting world.
Here's to the courage to climb, to keep pushing through, and to not settling. Here's to reinventing--no matter what age, to being attentive to soul congruence and to being willing to step out yet again. I feel certain that the best is yet to come.
To your OUTRAGEOUS success,
